The clubs first Running Day in July 1995 was held in Derek Deans side yard. As the Club grew and the activities increased the need for a place to house the growing collection of equipment and machines grew also, not to mention the need for larger quarters to hold meetings.
The dream was born and the groundwork began about the 30th of August, 1997.
